I had a bit of fun last night using the new Garden Whimsy stamp set that I bought with my very large order. I had also bought some "In Colour" card stock, stamp pads & ribbons. I set myself a challenge to use all the colours and to make 6 cards. I think they turned out quite well. I saw this post and decided to CASE it.

To get the "to be happy" on the circle I used my black marker on the part I wanted to stamp and then stamped onto whisper white card and punched it out using my 1" circle punch and then stamped the beetles on the punched circle. Its a bit hard to see the writing in this photo so I took a close up.

My order arrived today about 5.30pm. It was late but very welcome ![]()
I had ordered some additional catalogues which arrived at the same time so two boxes were delivered to me.
Here is the box before I started pulling all the goodies out.

And here is a photo of everything pulled out of the boxes. You can see the pile of catalogues at the far end of the table.

I had fun sorting all the orders out and seeing all the things that I had ordered.
What a great way to end a day!
I have a rather large order coming my way this week - I have everything crossed that it turns up tomorrow (Monday). It is my order from my launch party on the 17th and I placed the order on Wednesday night (21st). I sooooo hope it comes tomorrow. I can't wait to get my hands on all the new product.
I'll let you know when it arrives and maybe even put up a photo or two.
I've been having a bit of fun with the stamp set "Fun & Fast Notes" and "Heartfelt Thanks".
I have made up these cute 3" x 3" cards - I made some up for thank you notes for everyone that placed an order with me during my launch. I played around with my pastels which was fun too.

I had my very first team meeting last night with my upline and her team. It was good to meet some more people within the SU family. Kirrily Matthews organised for us all to do a make and take cause she was doing a workshop on the weekend and wanted to try it out on us all first.
Here is my page

This is our gorgeous daughter Elizabeth a few days before her first birthday with my husband Dave.
If you have a look at other blogs then you have probably seen this stamp set used quite a bit. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up! and its called Baroque Motifs. I love the swirly swirly stamp and will work with the others this week (that is my challenge to myself for the week).
I have made a few cards - two of which I am really happy with how they turned out.
These two I really love. I've used the Palette O Prints DSP (POP) in both of these cards which is a great way to get background colour and also as you could imagine very quick too.
This first card I used choc chip & Rose red CS. My upline, Karen, had stamped the bottom motif onto river rock and I was able to use it (thanks Karen) on this card. And used pretty in pink ribbon.

This second card I used all green, the certainly celery POP and Gable Green CS. Again I used the already stamped motif that Karen had left (thanks again Karen) on the bottom right. Then used Green Galore as a layer under the motif and I think Green Galore ribbon to tie it all together (parden the pun)

I just loved how both of these turned out.
Here are three more cards that I had a bit of fun with - not quite as happy with these - just don't feel the colours where there but wanted to use some brilliant blue cause I find that quite hard to use up.

Here are the cards that everyone could choose from for the make and take - same design different colours. My upline, Karen, organised it all for me which was fantastic. I could sit back and just soak in the knowledge from her.

Kristina has another CI challenge. She's up to #9. Her inspiration came from this room from Martha Stewart.

The colours are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, So Saffron & Tempting Turquoise.
I made this card with my friend Jenni in mind who isn't feeling very well at the moment so thought I would let her know that I'm thinking of her.
The card I came up with is

I used the stamp sets "Warmest Regards" and "Heartfelt Thanks" from Stampin' Up!
I stamped one of the flowers from "Heartfelt Thanks" with Versa Mark on the Real Red CS. It didn't really turn out in the photo.
I hope you like it.
edited to add
I just wanted to show you a couple more photos that I did with these colours.

I've made a couple of scrap pages for my Stampin' Up! launch for this Saturday. I used the Simply Scrappin Kit "Confetti".

I was really happy how they turned out but I do still need to do some journelling on the first page.
Kristina has her Colour Inspiration Challenge #8 up on her website and I've decided to do a layout this week rather than a card - mainly cause the card I made just wasn't right - it seemed to be lacking something so I did a layout instead.
Her inspiration comes from this room

and the colours are whisper white; bashful blue; brilliant blue & pumpkin pie and now here is my layout

This is our gorgeous little girl Elizabeth who turned 1 on the 1st May. I hope you like my layout.

At about 5.15pm today (Monday 5th May) my Stampin' Up! Starter Kit arrived. It was very exciting to receive a very large box full of stamping supplies.
I am now a full fledged Stampin' Up! Demo... YAY!
Here is the box before I started pulling everything out of it...

Woo hooooooooo
I have finally finished a card for our gorgeous little girl Elizabeth who was 1 yesterday.
I started with as a5 piece of pink passion card stock and scored it at 5.25cm from either end of the long end and folded them in to make two 'doors'. I then used my Pink Passion marker and coloured in my leaves awash stampin around jumbo roller (which was quite time consuming but it got the job done).
Cut the white & pixie pink card stock to size & then I stuck the ready-to-glitter stickers onto the pixie pink card stock. Then I used the glitter.
I then stamped the Happy & Birthday onto the pixie pink card stock separately using my eye so that is why it isn't as straight as it could have been. Stuck the whole thing together and then using my eye again punched the holes for the brads.
And here it is ...

Products
Stampin' Up - Pixie Pink & Pink Passion card stock
Stampin' Up - Warmest Regards
Stampin' Up - Pink Passion markers
Stampin' Up - Leaves awash Stampin' around.
White card stock
Silver Brads
Silver Glitter
Making Memories - Ready-to-glitter-stickers (I was able to get these from the US but had to have them delivered to a friends place in the US and his sister was able to bring them back to Australia when she came home.
If you live in Australia and would like to order any Stampin' Up products, please email me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
Just reading through the last few posts and realised that I have mainly been doing Kristina's CI Challenges... I'll try to make some more cards and show them to you soon.
We're in a bit of a mad house at the moment cause our little girl just turned 1 and we are having a party for her on Sunday with some of our family.
I haven't made our little girl a birthday card yet - good thing she's happy that her birthday lasts for weeks cause it will give me time to make a card for her!
Need to go to bed now as it has just gone past midnight. So goodnight one and all.
Here's another CI from Kristina.
Here inspiration is from this picture

The colours are Very Vanilla, Soft Sky, Close to Cocoa & Chocolate Chip.
The card I came up with is
I don't have any Soft Sky or Very Vanilla CS at the moment but hopefully will order some soon as I just became a demo for SU as of today. So I used Bashful Blue and some CS that I had that looked fairly close to Very Vanilla. I think I would have preferred a Choc Chip ribbon instead of the cream coloured one but I used what I had.
I used the card sketch challenge from splitcoast stampers.
Here is another one of Kristina's Colour Inspirations. She was inspired by this photo and converted them into these Stampin' Up colours.

So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi.
Here is my card

It was a bit harder to complete this challenge mainly cause I didn't have any card stock of Wild Wasabi & Sahara Sand. I had some other card stock which seem close to these colours.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
In a previous post I mentioned that I made a card for a friend. We were going away for the weekend and it was going to be from our whole team - Our little family are on the tech team for Katoomba Christian Covention) I hadn't written in it which was a good thing in the end cause I forgot to take it with me! I left it on my craft table. So while I was up at Katoomba I raced up to Kmart to see if they had anything that I would be able to use to make a card and low and behold but they did.
I did have a few things with me, thankfully, so I was able to use them along with the other materials that I bought.
Here is the card that I made.

In the end I was rather pleased with how it turned out. The things I already had was the silver split pins, the purple/green striped paper and my SU markers. I had to buy a "Happy Birthday" stamp too.
I'm back again with another colour inspiration. Kristina has set us another challenge from her blog. The inspiration came from this photo

and the colours are translated into Stampin' Up's

Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa
The card I came up with is

I used all four colours and also used the Friendship Blooms & Birthday Whimsy stamp sets from Stampin' Up both are SAB sets from this year.
It my friend, Megan's birthday today and so I had her in mind when I was making this for her.
I hope you like it - I actually made a couple of mistakes on it but managed to cover them up.
Thanks for looking.
Just wanted to show you a card I made last night. I made it for a good friend of ours.

I received a lot of 12 x 12 textured card stock the other day and wanted to use some of it so used it on this card. The card is square (6 x 6) and I used the Stem Silhouettes, Both Way Blossoms and the "Happy Birthday" from Birthday Whimsy. All these stamp sets are from Stampin' Up.
I bought these little notes from Stampin' Up in January and knew I wanted to use them for Elizabeth's birthday invitation. So here it is.

I had to get organised as it isn't very far away so I just got stuck into doing them over the weekend and they just came together.
I stuck a magnet on the back so it can be put up onto the fridge. We have only invited family plus a friends that are like family so all in all if everyone comes along there will be about 35 people including kids from ages 1-12. My husband and I are both 1 of 4 kids so it makes for big family occasions when we all get together.
Kristina Werner has another colour inspiration. It took me a while to come up with the layout but I knew which stamp set I wanted to use.
This is the room that inspired her which she got from

and she has transferred the colours into SU colours which are

Very Vanilla, Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Close to Coco
and now finally here is the card that I came up with

I hope you like it.
